Lays out your 120-year Vimshottari timeline: the sequence of planetary periods (mahadasha), their sub-periods (antardasha) and sub-sub-periods (pratyantardasha), with exact dates and the one you are in today.

The dasha is how the tradition spreads a chart across time. It is the most-used timing system in Nepal and India.

Find the Moon's nakshatra at birth and its ruling planet.
Work out how much of that nakshatra the Moon had left, which gives the balance of the first period.
Follow the fixed planetary order and years: Ketu 7, Venus 20, Sun 6, Moon 10, Mars 7, Rahu 18, Jupiter 16, Saturn 19, Mercury 17 (120 years).
Each period is split into nine sub-periods in the same order, in proportion to the planets' years. The year length is 365.25 days.
