What it does

Lists planets that are in the same sign in your main chart (D1) and your Navamsa (D9).

Why it matters

Tradition calls such a planet vargottama, 'best of its divisions', and treats it as unusually steady and strong.

How it is worked out

  1. Place each planet in the main chart.
  2. Place it in the Navamsa by the nine-division rule.
  3. Compare the two signs.

How to read your result

What it cannot tell you

Sensitive to exact degree: a planet near a sign edge can fall in a different D9 sign with a small time error.
