What it does

Checks the three 'reverse royal' yogas, in which the lord of the 6th, 8th or 12th house sits in one of those same difficult houses (Harsha, Sarala and Vimala).

Why it matters

The tradition says difficulty can turn into strength when the lords of hard houses fall in hard houses: the 'good from adversity' idea.

How it is worked out

  1. Find the lords of the 6th, 8th and 12th houses.
  2. Check whether each sits in the 6th, 8th or 12th.
  3. Test the exceptions, such as the lord being with other planets.
